Golden FC won an exciting Saturday evening game of  by a 3-1 score over Durham Saints SC. Golden Fc  attacked early at Terry Fox Field but Durham Saints Sc struck first with a half volley by Mohamed Amer, his first goal of the season, that caught the corner of the net for a 1-0 lead by the home side at 20 minutes. Golden FC equalized at 30 minutes when a rebound from a save by Durham goalkeeper  was picked up by John Mayer who promptly found the net with a powerful shot. Mayer made it 2-1 for Golden FC from the penalty spot at 52 minutes and at 65 minutes Killen took a through pass from Terry Fitzgerald to drive a low shot into the far corner, a 3-1 score in favor of Golden FC at the final whistle. Hamilton Eagles Sc opened the scoring at Terry Fox  with a goal at 12 minutes by midfielder Milos Dukic, his 2nd of the season,  and it was an even contest to the break with the score 1-0 for Hamilton. There were few opportunities until Toronto Elite Sc  struck with two goals in the closing stages, the first by forward Hardaas Singh who found the net past Eagles goalkeeper at 85 minutes and the winning goal four minutes later by midfielder Mandeep Sandhay Singh, his first of the season. Hamilton Eagles pressed for an equalizer late but it was 2-1 for the Toronto Elite. A late goal by defender Anthony Kusteri was enough to give Brampton Tigers SC a narrow 1-0 victory over Marell SC at Terry Fox park, the only match played in the Proleague Canada Sunday.
