Following a second place finish in the 2018 Proleague First Division standings and strengthened by the recent addition of couple players from Europe and Asia, Toronto Elite SC kicked off a new campaign with a 2-0 victory over Brampton Tigers Sc .There were times after Toronto Elite Sc took an early 1-0 lead that Brampton Tigers Sc played well enough in the first half to get back on even terms in a contest that may go either way, but the Elite, gradually and methodically took charge following the interval to soon add one more and the game was a foregone conclusion with less than 15 minutes remaining to the final whistle. It was forward Kulwinder Singh who opened the scoring for Toronto Elite Sc at just three minutes, heading in off a corner kick by Ranjit for the 1-0 score at halftime. Kulwinder struck again at 54th for final result 2-0 minutes. Two goals by midfielder Cole gave Toronto Kings SC for a 4-0 come-from-behind victory over Durham Saints ,Osulivan made it 3-0 for the visitors at 60 minutes, a drive from six yards, and five minutes later Ivan Straslovski rounded the scoring to 4-0, driving from 25 yards into the corner of the net. John Killen put Golden SC into the lead at 8 minutes against Hamilton Eagles SC at the Terry Fox Field in Scarborough and Milos Dukic of Hamilton Eagles beat Golden goalkeeper Michael Repka to tie the score 1-1 four minutes later. Scarborough Lions SC defeated North York Sheriff Sc 3-1 at Terry Fox stadium in the only game played in the Proleague Canada Sunday. Marko Ristovski  opened the scoring for Scarborough at 30 minutes with a free kick from 25 yards that beat North York goalkeeper Zanuer. It was 1-0 at the break. Player-coach, midfielder Eduardo Balde increased the lead for the home side, driving the ball from inside the box and finding the net past Zanuer to make it 2-0 at the 70th minute mark. North York’s Miran Fatih found the net past Scarborough goalkeeper at 86 minutes, a 2-1 score at the final whistle.
